Search for AI companion advice and you’ll find three things: AI-generated spam that never touched the apps it ranks, one-off “sponsored” lists rented out on news sites, and comparison pages that are really one brand’s ad in disguise.
The Confidante exists because none of those help you. This is a category where people spend real money — and real feelings — on products that change monthly and oversell constantly. It deserves what every other product category already has: an independent reviewer that actually uses the products, publishes its methodology, dates its tests, and tells you when something isn’t worth your money.
